Neighborhood Crew

Introducing the Neighborhood Crew, my handpicked group of some of the baddest players in New York. I had a fantastic time recording my new record with these amazing individuals and I'm really proud of the cohesive sound we were able to achieve in the studio. Stanley Banks

Legendary bassist Stanley Banks is a Brooklyn native who began playing bass guitar in HighSchool. Stanley performed for two years with the New York City High School Orchestra and Chorus at Philharmonic Hall. He later joined ten time Grammy winning artist George Benson. He has continued to play along side Benson for over 35 years and has recorded on albums such as "Breezin, "Weekend in LA", "The Greatest", and others that have gone gold or platinum.  He has also performed with such greats as Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Esther Phillips, Freddie Hubbard, Al Jarreau, David Sanborn, Etta James, Stanley Turrentine, Manhattan Transfer, and countless others. 

Diego Voglino

New York City resident and drummer/singer Diego Voglino, has recorded and/or performed with: Bruce Springsteen, Marshall Crenshaw, David Hidalgo, James Hunter, Norah Jones and Natalie Merchant.  Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Diego was raised in Los Angeles, and spent several years in Japan. He has made Brooklyn his home since 1999.

Al Street

Guitarist Al Street has performed with soul legends Marva Whitney, Maxine Brown, Darrow Fletcher, the Green Berets and Otis Clay with the Sweet Divines. In addition, playing with Michael Leonhart's Avramina 7. 

Al has played with Organ Legends Dr. Lonnie Smith and Reuben Wilson, Keyboard Legend Bernie Worrell, also Seamus Blake, and Pete Francis of Dispatch. Al Street can be heard on the Major Motion Picture "American Gangster" soundtrack. as well as "Three Days of Rain" with Grammy winner Bob Belden. Touring the world and recording with funk legend Lee Fields and Daptone recording artist Sugarman 3. Al Street has traveled to Venezuela, Honduras, Peru and Syria as a U.S. Department of State Jazz Ambassador.

Ronnie Roc

Ronnie Roc is a multi-percussionist and keyboardist from Harlem USA. Ronnie studied classical piano as a child and then went on to study African, Brazilian, Haitian, Puetro Rican, and Cuban percussion. He has performed and/or recorded with Steve Coleman, Steve Turre, Nego Gato, Xiomara Fortuna, Dave Mullen and many others.  He is currently staff percussionist with Alvin Alley Dance Company and he also leads two groups; Afrazz, featuring him on percussion and Mambo Jaambo, a latin jazz trio featuring him on piano.
